The XII International Forum “Eurasian Economic Perspective” will take place on 12-13 December 2024 in St. Petersburg under the topic “Integration Cooperation in Greater Eurasia as Basis for the New Multipolar World”. The forum is organized by St. Petersburg State University of Economics with the support of Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the CIS, Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, Eurasian Association of Universities and Roscongress Foundation.
The programme will include a Plenary Session and thematic sessions dedicated to opportunities for the development of non-resource exports and industrial cooperation within the EAEU, economic cooperation within the Union State of Russia and Belarus, impact of BRICS expansion on the development of the Greater Eurasia region (download programme).
“The space of the Greater Eurasia reflects the values of the multipolar world that the Russian Federation is striving for. In order to develop and expand opportunities of the Eurasian space, our country takes an active part in integration formats that are held within the framework of interaction between regional and trans-regional organizations and associations. I am confident that this year the forum will mark a number of significant events, including the year of Russia’s chairmanship of the BRICS association, and will help determine the vector of further development” – Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov mentioned.
Traditionally, the forum unites members of the Board and heads of departments of the Eurasian Economic Commission, heads and representatives of the Eurasian Development Bank, CIS Executive Committee, Union State of Russia and Belarus, ministries of the Russian Federation, rectors and academicians of universities of Eurasian space, economists, politicians and public figures, business community representatives.
