On December 13 the rector of St. Petersburg state economic University Igor Maksimtsev was interviewed for analytical portal "Eurasia. Expert" on the Eurasian integration issues.
April 20, Igor Maksimtsev, made the report "Acute problems of economic security of the States-CSTO members in the statutory objectives of the Organization" at the meeting of the permanent commissions of the parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the collective security Treaty in St. Petersburg.
Based on the decision of the Academic Council of the University and the contract signed by the rector of Saint-Petersburg State Economic University - Igor Maksimtsev - and the Secretary General – the head of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev, the Department of international relations, media studies, political science and history, Saint-Petersburg State Economic University has established the Department of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council – that is – the Department of Eurasian integration.
In the Interparliamentary Assembly of Independent States Union the VI International conference "Tavricheskaya Perspective" was devoted to "25 Years of Interparliamentary Assembly of Independent States Union: update Issues and Perspectives of Eurasion Integration".
